Don’t tell me I have to pick just one?! They are all so magnificent–this is such a wonderful tribute to talent!
#3 moves me especially. I am always drawn to the expressions, and the story behind the eyes.

I truly love them all, and for entirely different reasons. They each evoke such a unique emotion. If I absolutely had to pick a favorite, it would be the rattlesnake.

Such beautiful images! I minored in photo in college, and I also did some photojournalistic work for the paper when I was a reporter. But I haven’t been keeping up with my photo skills lately, perhaps because I’ve concentrated so much on writing. However, the photo samples you’ve been posting to your site are helping with inspiration and making me want to pick up that Nikon D80 again. 🙂
My favorite two are the first ones: the snake (great foreground and depth perception) and the water (amazing use of the shutter and light). I also really like the portrait of the child. Creative composition and use of color.
Thanks for sharing, Melissa!
