Beautiful images! I think my favorite is the one of the pier. It just fades off into the distance, and it makes you wonder what’s beyond that point? It’s a very lonely photo, but it also sparks my imagination (even stirs a little of my adventurous soul). I also like the perspective of the child’s face. I would have never thought of that angle. And quite frankly, the emotion of the Morning Memorial.

Thank you for sharing these inspiring images with us, Melissa!

These are so beautiful! I love the idea that simple things like rain, windchimes and the sun shining brings an entirely new element to an image. That cemetery photo is quite moving with the sun shining through the tree; almost like it says that the light still shines and days go on, despite sorrow.

The photo contest is a great idea. I’ll look for a photo to submit. Thanks for sharing!

Every one of these pictures seems magical. Each in a different way. I think that’s the sign of a truly great photographer – wen they can catch the essence of a story in the picture. All of these make me wonder . . . what’s going to happen here?

Melissa..these are all wonderful images. I have hardly tried my hand at photography, but these pictures are tempting me.

You are very sweet and generous to allow me to use your pictures on my blog. You can send me few that you think I will be able to use with my blog posts. Thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you all for your astute comments and observations! Aren’t these photographers wonderful? And this was JUST a sampling … I wanted to include them all. Stay tuned until next Friday when another round of entries is posted. And don’t forget to come back the week of March 28 to vote for your top pick of the 5 finalists. My wonderful judges are sure to pick the top 5 “cream of the crop.”
